Aurora Garden Tour - Sunday July 12th, 12 noon to 4:30 p.m.

Tour seven beautiful local gardens. The focus of our tour is landscapes created by the gardeners themself. The owners of these private paradises will be available  to answer all of your questions. A special feature, local artists will be in the gardens displaying their artwork and painting while you watch. 


Tickets are on sale now at the following four locations (also available on the event date).

Caruso & Co. 15210 Yonge Street, Aurora

Black Forest Garden Centre 15445 Keele Street, King City

Carmichael's  17235 Yonge Street, Newmarket 

Hillcrest Nurseries  14230 Bathurst Street, Aurora

and at the Aurora Farmer's Market on: June 27, July 4 and July 11.


Tickets are $15 each.

Tour runs rain or shine.


Highlights of some of the gardens:

- a spacious garden with two large adjoining ponds surrounded by lush foliage

- a mature cottage-style garden, complete with split rail fence and meanderings paths

- a contemporary garden designed to complement the clean lines of the house

- a one acre plant collector's property with an orchid house

Topic: Orchids, The Vast World Beyond Phalaenopsis

Terry will cover the basics of growing Orchids, showing a variety of Orchids to introduce you to the vast variety in size, colour and form that makes the world of Orchids so intriguing.

Bring along your Orchid if you have a question about the plant.

Terry will have plants and potting materials for sale.

2015 Aurora Garden Fair - It was a beautiful Sunday at the Town Park

The marketplace was busy all day with partons shopping at over 35 vendors. You could find a fountain of ideas to develop your outdoor space. There were garden plants, dirt and materials to create your own DIY garden spaces, and local professional service providers ready to help. Sculpture, garden art and other colourful accessories to catch your eye.
